The three things you need
- Time: minimum 4-hour layover. That covers immigration, a Grand Mosque visit, and the return buffer.
- A visa or visa-free entry: many nationalities receive a free visa on arrival; others need a pre-arranged e-visa. Check with your airline or official UAE government channels.
- Your luggage sorted: bags checked through? Walk out light. Otherwise they ride safely in our vehicle.
How the timeline actually works
- Land & clear immigration Typically 30–45 minutes at Zayed International.
- Tour the city Grand Mosque alone needs ~4 hours door-to-door; add the Louvre and palaces with 8+.
- Return 2 hours before departure International gates close 20 minutes before the time on your ticket.

What if my layover is under 4 hours?
Stay airside. Rushing immigration twice for a 30-minute glimpse isn't worth the stress, and we'll tell you so honestly. Save the city for a longer stop.
