The summer routing rules we actually use
- Indoor-first: the mosque interior, Louvre and Qasr Al Watan are all air-conditioned; courtyards happen early morning or after sunset.
- Desert = evening only: in summer we run the safari add-on at the +AED 190 evening slot exclusively.
- The vehicle as refuge: pre-cooled before every stop, water on board, transfers timed to minimise outdoor exposure.
- Night layovers win the season: a post-8 PM window in summer is the premium slot.
☀️ The honest line: a 1 PM–5 PM July layover still gets you the mosque and the Louvre in comfort. But if you dreamed of long courtyard sessions, we will tell you what the heat allows before you book.
What to wear and carry
Light, loose, shoulders-and-knees-covered fabrics do double duty for the heat and the mosque dress code. Sunglasses, water, and let us handle the rest.
